I-45’s Be Someone Is Now Be One

It first appeared back in 2012.

A memorable piece of graffiti on Interstate 45 near downtown has been altered into a new message.

The original “BE SOMEONE” graffiti has been shortened to “BE ONE.” Aerials from Sky 2 showed the first four letters of someone blocked out with red paint.

It will be something different for commuters to process, but the reaction among some social media users has been mixed.

Some may give credence to the artistic merits of graffiti. But for fans of the original version the modification isn’t something they can necessarily report to law enforcement, considering the first drawing was also an act of vandalism.
